Welcome to EE72's Substack
There’s something surreal about seeing EE72 take over Piccadilly Lights on a Friday night.
Last week, a short film by Nick Knight starring Kate Moss appeared 40ft high above London, captured for the latest issue of 72 Magazine, Spring 2026. Watching the film in the heart of the city reminded me of fashion’s ability to stop people in their tracks and create conversation beyond the screen. Kate and I sat on the steps of the fountain in Piccadilly Circus, arm in arm, taking it all in.
The film launched a poster of Kate for sale, with profits going to Breakthrough T1D, the world’s leading Type 1 diabetes charity, chosen by and close to the heart of Kate. Lila, Kate’s daughter, is an advocate for the Type 1 diabetes community which made this moment very special for all of us.
The Summer 2026 issue of 72 is being printed as I write this and will be shared with the world very soon. I can’t wait for people’s reactions. Is this our best cover yet? In a few days, I’ll be heading to Cannes to host an EE72 party, bringing together film, fashion, art and culture in a way that feels very true to our DNA. That mix of creativity, energy and perspective (and some fun) is very much at the heart of what we’re building.
I created EE72 to spotlight and champion the people and ideas that are shaping how we see the world now and in the future. Launching EE72 on Substack feels like the natural next step. A space where I am able to write, platform longer conversations, interviews and personal reflections from people whose work and ideas genuinely excite me.
People want stories, conversations and a duality of perspectives. Throughout my career, from i-D, Italian Vogue, US Vogue, W to British Vogue and now EE72 my mission is to meet the audience where they are. This has led me here to Substack.
Thank you for being here at the beginning of this next chapter.
Love,
